Have you heard about Wiener Wiesn? No? But for sure you have seen it! 
There are on the tram, on the streets and in the shops, also in the newspapers… So what is it? This is originally traditional volkfashion!
Although it is traditionally more conservative wear, nowadays this fashion is trendy, colorful, loud and shining. And guess what: you could go in that to the party, to eat an icecream or whatever you like! It is so common in the everyday life, at this is fantastic! I have never seen before that this kind of tradition can exist in the modern life. If you do not beleive in me, check the festival of it from 19th of September: Wiener Wiesn-Fest 2013 – I think it will be fun!

TRACHT is a traditional national costume in German-speaking countries. Although the word is most often associated with Austrian and Bavarian costumes, many other people of Germany have them. In Austria it is common to wear a "Dirndl" (for girls) or a "Lederhose" (mostly for men).
"Wiener Wiesn" is a festival like the Oktoberfest in Munich, which takes place once a year.
